The 3 passwords are controlled by Day/Night; the combination is entered using the unit buttons. It is
influenced by the setting of Relay mode and Day/Night switchover. When set to 2-group mode the unit is
permanently in DAY mode.
Follow these rules when choosing password combination:
Select passwords carefully, to prevent their discovery from wear on buttons caused by frequent
use.
Select the first password button from infrequently-used buttons for direct dialling (-extends choice
time)(-not valid for keyboard).
Note: The switchover to Day/Night mode remains set in unit even after line disconnection.
