Problem Suggestion
I hear other calls when
using the telephone.
Disconnect the telephone base from the telephone wall jack. Plug in a different telephone. If
you still hear other calls, the problem is probably in the wiring or local service. Call your local
telephone company.

cordless handset, and
none of the keys or
buttons works.
Make sure the telephone line cord is plugged in securely.•
My caller ID features
are not working
properly.
Caller ID is a subscription service. You must subscribe to this service from your local telephone
company for this feature to work on your telephone.
The caller may not be calling from an area which supports caller ID.
Both you and the caller’s telephone companies must use equipment which are compatible
with the caller ID service.
The caller ID information will be displayed after the rst or second ring.
If you subscribe to high-speed Internet service (Digital Subscriber Line - DSL) through your
telephone lines, you must install a DSL lter between the telephone base and the telephone wall
jack. The lter will prevent noise and caller ID problems caused by DSL interference. Please
contact your DSL service provider for more information about DSL lters.
