SETTING THE SECURITY CODE
This system has preset security codes which prevent interference
and background noise caused by similar systems. If you
encounter interference, follow these steps to set your security
codes.
Note:
You should only need to set the security code if you get in-
terference from another system.
1. With both the base and extension unit(s) installed and any
connected telephones on hook, press the coding button on
the side of the base unit with a pencil. The green indicator on
the base turns on.
2. Press the coding button on the extension unit within 5 min-
utes.
• If the code is successfully set, the extension unit’s indica-
tor blinks once.
• If the code is not set, the indicator continues to flash. Try
pressing the coding button on the extension unit several
times until the indicator stops flashing. if you cannot make
the indicator stop flashing, start over again at Step 1.
