Duplicate Messages
If your pager receives a message that is the same as
one already stored in memory (read or unread),
appears when the pager displays the duplicate mes-
sage. After you read a duplicate message, the pager
saves only one copy of it, showing the most recent
time that the message was received.
Tone Only or Unreadable Messages
If your pager receives a message that does not have
any numbers, it displays
TONE ONLY
.
If your pager receives a message that is partially or to-
tally unreadable (due to disruption of the paging signal
or low signal strength, for example), it displays the un-
readable characters as dashes (
55–123–
, for exam-
ple).
