TO RECEIVE A CALL
NOTE: If you are expecting incoming calls, the ringer mode must be set to RING ON mode.
RING OFF LED indicator is off.
A. IF THE HANDSET IS ON THE BASE UNIT
1. Since the unit features " Auto-Answer ", simply pick up the handset from the base cradle
when the phone rings. The base and handset IN USE LED indicator will turn on.
2. Start your conversation.
3. To end your conversation, either press the TALK button or place the handset on the
base unit. The base IN USE LED indicator will turn off.
B. IF THE HANDSET IS OUT OF THE BASE UNIT
1. When the phone rings, press the TALK button on the handset. The unit will scan for a
clear channel until the IN USE LED indicator lights up and a confirmation tone is heard.
2. Start your conversation.
3. To end your conversation, either press the TALK button or place the handset on the
base unit. The base IN USE LED indicator will turn off.
LAST NUMBER REDIAL
A. AFTER HEARING A BUSY TONE WHEN PLACING A CALL
1. If you get a busy tone, press handset TALK button to hang up.
2. Press the handset TALK button again and listen for a dial tone.
3. Press the handset RE/PA button. This will automatically redial the last telephone num-
ber you called (Up to 24 digits).
B. WHEN THE HANDSET IS OFF THE BASE UNIT AND IN STANDBY MODE
1. Press the TALK button on the handset and listen for a dial tone.
2. Press the RE/PA button. This will automatically redial the last telephone number you
called (Up to 24 digits).
NOTE: When the adapter power is disconnected and connected again, the unit cannot
redial the last telephone number you called.
MEMORY DIALING
You can store up to 10 telephone numbers (up to 16 digits each) into memory and you can
then dial any of the stored phone numbers.
A. STORING TELEPHONE NUMBERS INTO MEMORY
1. Make sure that the handset and base unit are in the standby mode. The base unit and
handset IN USE LED indicators should be OFF.
2. Press and release the MEMO button. The handset will beep once.
3. Enter the telephone number you want to store (maximum of 16 digits). A key tone is
heard for every key pressed.
4. Press the MEMO button once again.
5. Press a number (0 through 9) where you want to store the phone number.
NOTE: You will hear a long beep to confirm that the number was properly stored.
6. Repeat procedures 1 to 5 to store other telephone numbers.
B. RECALLING A TELEPHONE NUMBER FROM MEMORY
1. Press the TALK button.
2. Press the MEMO button.
3. Select and press one of the keypad buttons (0 to 9). The stored telephone number will
be dialed automatically.
C. CHANGING STORED TELEPHONE NUMBERS

• Follow the steps described in "Storing Telephone Numbers". The new phone number
will automatically replace the previous one.
MIXED MODE DIALING (Temporary Pulse to Tone Dialing)
1. If you only have pulse (rotary dialing) service in your area and want to access Tone services
(Bank by Phone, etc.), ensure that the T / P(Tone / Pulse) switch is set to the Pulse position.
