but theycan generally beassumed to have
a RENof 1.0. Ifin doubt, pleasecheck with
your British Telecom Sales Office.
The REN value of your Geemarc BB10, is
1.0.
RINGER
1 - A switch located above the handset
microphone allows the ringer to be
switched On or Off.
2 - If you don’t like the ringer melody, you
can choose a new one by changing the
setting as follows:
Low Med High
Tone 1 1 2 3
Tone 2 4 5 6
Tone 3 7 8 9
The default setting is 6.
CAUTION :when theringer has beenset
to the Off setting (digit 0), an incoming
call will be indicated by the handset
strobe light flashing. The ringer will be
automatically returned to the previous
setting (1to 9)when the handsetis lifted
from the base unit.
To set new ringer tone:
- Lift handset.
- Press the
button.
- Press the # button.
- Press a number from 1 to 9.
OPERATION
1 - LAST NUMBER REDIAL ( )
BUTTON
If the telephone number you have called is
engaged or if you want to repeat the call to
the number you dialled previously, lift the
handset, await dial tone and press the
button. The previously dialled number will
beAUTOMATICALLY RE-DIALLED. Up to
31 digitscan bestored inthe redialmemory.
For someNetwork services(home banking)
or PABXs it may be necessary to insert a
pause. Press when you need to insert
a pause or to store a pause in the memory.

If youwish to talkprivately to someoneelse
in theroom -without yourcaller overhearing
- pressand releasethe
/ button. Your
caller may still be heard during the Mute
operation. Toresume normal conversation,
press and release the
/ button.
This buttonis alsoused in theprogramming
process when storing telephone numbers
in the one and two touch memories.
