You can access the answering system from any tone dialing telephone in
another location. The security code is required for remote access, and it prevents
unauthorized access to your answering system. You may only change the security
code at the base.
1. Press the
 button untilSECURITY CODE shows in the display.
. Use the touch-tone pad to enter your new 3-digit security code. For example, press
the 6, , and 8 number keys for security code 68. The default security code is
123.
3. Press
 again to store your selection. You will hear a conrmation tone.


1. Press the  button until SET RING LEVEL shows in the display. 1HI is the
default setting.

 (9 or :) button to scroll to your selection.
