Your micro TALK PR 900 DX is equipped with Au to
Sq u e l c h , which auto m at i cally shuts off weak
t ransmissions and unwa n ted noise due to te rra i n
conditions or if you have reached your range limit.
Au to Squelch sensitivity can be changed to HI (least
s e n s i t i ve) or LOW (most sensitive) by p re s s i n g the
Mode Bu t t on until the “ 5 ”(HI or LO) is displaye d.

be tween HI or LO sensitivity. Pre s s the PTT Ta l k

When the signal you want to hear is consistently
weak, you may place the radio in Maximum
Range Mod e.Press and hold t he Mo n i tor Bu t to n
for 1 seco n d.The “M O N ”i con will be illuminated on
the LC D. To re t u r n to normal ope rat i o n , press and
hold the Monitor Button again or change
channels.
