Connecting the components of the IP Deskphone
CAUTION
Damage to Equipment
Ensure you only plug your Avaya 1165E IP
Deskphone into a 100BaseT Ethernet jack. Plugging
your Avaya 1165E IP Deskphone into anything other
than a 100BaseT Ethernet jack will result severe
damage to the IP Deskphone.
CAUTION
Your Avaya 1165E IP Deskphone is designed for use
in an indoor environment only.
WARNING
Your Avaya 1165E IP Deskphone is shipped with the
base locked in position. To avoid damaging your IP
Deskphone, pull up on the wall-mount lever, located just
under the Handsfree key, to release the base and gently
rotate the base away from the IP Deskphone.
