Using Your Bluetooth Hands Free Kit
Powering On/Off
Thebluetoothkitwillautomaticallyturnonwhenthevehicle’skeyisturnedtotheaccessorypositionandwillremainon
untilthevehicle’saccessorypoweristurnedoff.Afterturningon,thebluetoothkitwillautomaticallysearchforphonesthat
havebeenpairedwithit.Sinceitispossibletohavemultiplephonespairedtothesystemtheorderof priorityof
connectingwillbethelatestphonepaired,thephonemostusedwiththesystem,thephonesecondmostusedphonewith
thesystem.Ifthebluetoothkithasnotbeenpairedtoaphonepairingwillautomaticallyactivate.
MakingaCall
Whenconnectedtothebluetoothkityoumayuseyourphoneasnormaltodialnumbersorsearchyourcontactslist
or by using VoiceDialing.
VoiceDialing
ToactivatevoicedialingpresstheANSWERkeyonthebluetoothkeypad,thesystemwillpromptyouforacommand.
Clearlyspeakyourcommand(example,CallShaun).Thesystemwillthenconfirmthecommandandinthisexample
willthencallShaun.
Ending a Call
To endacallpresstheANSWERkey.
Answer aCall
Whenthereis anincoming callthe vehicle’sradiowill bemuted/turned offand thecallwill ringthrough the
vehicle’sspeaker,toanswerpresstheANSWERkey.
Ignore an Incoming Call
ToIgnoreanincomingcallpressand holdtheANSWERkeyfor2seconds.
Redial the Last Number
ToredialthelastnumberpresstheUPkeythentheANSWERkeywithin1second.
Adjusting the Call Volume
Whileinacall,adjustthevolumeup/downwiththeUPkeyorDOWNkey,eachpressraisesorlowersthevolumeby
1level.Whenthemin/maxvolumeisreachedthesystemwillbeep2timesthroughthespeaker.
Transfer a Call
TotransferacallbetweenbluetoothhandsfreeornormalphoneoperationpressandholdtheUPkeyonthe
bluetoothkeypadfor2seconds.
Mute the Bluetooth Microphone
Tomute/un-mutethebluetooth’smicpressandholdtheDOWNkeyonthebluetoothkeypadfor2seconds.The
bluetoothkitwillautomaticallyun-mute.
Pairing
To activatephonepairingpressboththeUPandDOWNkeysatthesametime.Atthistimeyouwillneedtoactivate
pairingonthephone,seeyourphonesownersmanual.ThePINcodeforpairingis1234andwillneedtobeentered
intoyourphoneatthetimeofpairing.
*Throughoutthismanual, ‘press’ refersto pressingfor lessthan 1second, ‘press andhold’ refers topressing for2
seconds.
