Scan
Your UH-O54 has a scanning feature that

Memory Scanning
Memory Scanning scans only the channels
stored in the scan memory.
1. To begin scanning,
momentarily press
the scan button.
2. The SCAN icon
flashes as the UH-
054 looks for a
transmission.

3. When it finds
(receives) an active
channel, the UH-
054 stops and
monitors that
channel.

4. When the transmission stops, the radio
continues scanning.
To stop scanning, press scan or the PTT
switch.
Priority Channel Scanning
Priority Channel Scanning allows you monitor
the priority channel while scanning.
There are two ways to begin priority Scanning.
