1. Slide off the Battery Compartment cover to installthe batteries.
2. You can use the followingtypes of batteries (size11AA").

Alkaline or rechargeable batteries are more desirable.
3. Install the batteries with polarity as shown on the Battery Comparment~
4. If you are using Alkaline or Standard type 11AA" batteries, use the two dummy
batteries provided with this unit.
NOTE: Only Nickel Cadmium batteries can be used for recharging purposes.
5. If the battery indicator LED comes on when power isturned on, the batteries need
to be recharged or replaced. As long as the LED stays lIoff", the batteries are OK.
