3. Press either the right, or left scan trigger. Ensure the red
scan beam covers the entire bar code. The green scan LED
lights and a beep sounds to indicate a successful decode.
Using a Headset
Note: The audio connector does not support headsets
with a microphone.
You can use a headset to listen to audio
playback. To use a headset, plug the
headset jack into the audio connector on
the top of the terminal.
Ensure that the terminal’s volume is set
appropriately before putting the headset
on.
Resetting the Terminal
If the terminal stops responding to input, reset it.
Performing a Soft Reset
A soft reset restarts the terminal and saves all stored records and
entries.
