Problem
•Potential cause/m Solution
The pager is not on.
•Turn the pager on.
m Press the POWER/ESC button for more
than two seconds.
•The battery is not installed correctly.
m Check to see if the battery is correctly
installed.
•Battery power is too low.
m Insert a new battery.
The display disappears.
•If you do not operate the pager for more than
a specified time the display returns to
standby mode to conserve the batteries. This
is not a sign of trouble.
The data you are entering is not saved.
•If the following occurs during information or
memo input, the data cannot be saved.
– An alarm activates.
– “LOW BATTERY!” is displayed.
– An extended delay occurs during
information or memo input causing the
display to disappear.
