Troubleshooting
Problem
•Potential cause/m Solution
The pager is not on.
Turn the pager on.
m Press the POWER/ESC button for more
than two seconds.
The battery is not installed correctly.
m Check to see if the battery is correctly
installed.
Battery power is too low.
m Insert a new battery.
The display disappears.
If you do not operate the pager for more than
a specified time the display returns to
standby mode to conserve the batteries. This
is not a sign of trouble.
The data you are entering is not saved.
If the following occurs during information or
memo input, the data cannot be saved.
An alarm activates.
“LOW BATTERY!” is displayed.
An extended delay occurs during
information or memo input causing the
display to disappear.
