Set the ringer to sound or not.
You can make and receive calls
with the ringer off.
Switch to
TONE
or
PULSE
to match the type of service
you have. If you have pulse (rotary) service, you can
switch to
TONE
during a call to use tone services.
Press
RESET
to end a call without returning the
handset to the cradle.
Press
FLASH
in place of the switchook for
special services such as call waiting.
Press
REDIAL
to dial the last number dialed
(up to 31 tone or 32 pulse digits).
Press to disconnect a call.
Press for special services.
Use the memory index card
to record important phone
numbers.
Plug the handset cord into the jacks on
the handset and base.
Press
MEMORY
once to enter the
two-digit location (01-20) for the
number you want to store or to dial
the number in memory. See “Stor-
ing/Dialing Numbers in Memory.”
Press
STORE
once to enter the telephone
number you wish to store. See “Storing/Dial-
ing Numbers in Memory.”
Press
PAUSE
to enter a pause for systems
that require an access code (9, for example)
before you can dial an outside number.
STORING/DIALING NUMBERS IN MEMORY
To store a number in memory:
1. Lift the handset.
2. Press
STORE.
3. Enter the telephone number you want to store.
Note:
A pause entry counts as 1 digit.
4. Press
MEMORY
once.
5. Enter the 2-digit number (0120) for the location
where you want to store the number.
6. Repeat Steps 35 to store additional numbers.
Return the handset to the cradle when you finish
storing numbers.
To dial a number in memory:
1. Lift the handset.
2. Press
MEMORY.
3. Enter the two-digit location number for the number
you want to call.
