The backlight function is available in the

When the device is on, press and hold to
turn the backlight on. The backlight shuts off
automatically after 20 seconds to save bat-
tery power.

Each time you tap SAVE to save a record, the
available memory flashes so that you know
the memory used in your device at all times.
