A Few Rules You Should Know
A. Co nve r s ations cannot last more than 5 minute s
with another station. A one minute break is
required to let others use the channel.
B. You cannot blast others off the air by use of
illegally amplified transmitters or illegally
high antennas.
C. You cannot use CB to promote illegal
activities.
D. Profanity is not allowed.
E. You may not transmit music with a CB.
F. Selling of merchandise and/or services is
prohibited.

Note
Due to the characteristics of
CB transmissions,it is neccesary
to use an external car roof
antenna (item #ATW 400) and a
BNC adapter (item #CA 43) to
receive optimal performance
while in your vehicle. See
Accessories section on page 19.

Note
Auto Battery Save will not
effect the receiving range of
the HH 34.
Battery life is approximately
20 hours under normal use
conditions.

You Should Know
Operation How Your CB Can Serve You
Note
TX/BATT indicator will illuminate
red when the batteries need
recharging or replacement.
Note
Battery life is increased up to 50%
while in Battery Save LOW Mode.
This reduces power output to 1
watt.
Power Saver-HI/LOW
Reduces the power to 1 watt. This does not
decrease the unit’s ability to receive but does
reduce the transmitting range.
To utilize Power Save slide switch to LOW.
This mode will extend the unit’s battery life.

The HH 34 can be connected to your cigarette
lighter with the provided car cord. This power
connection does NOT charge the batteries.
