Insert the wire into the terminal securely.

Terminate the last sub station, putting SW to A position.
Otherwise both video image and audio quality will be

Options
1 Foot talk switch
Connect foot call switch (locally available) to PURPLE, BLUE
wires (dry contact closure).
2 Manual press-to-talk restriction
Short between PURPLE and GREEN wires to prevent manual
TALK button operation.
3 Local door release
Connects a local door release which has bigger contact
capacity than EL-9S. For two door releases, use an RY-3DL
adaptor (See Wiring diagram of RY-3DL on Page 4).
4 Video output to video apparatus, video printer, etc. (NTSC,
1Vp-p/75 Ω).
5 Two EL-9S door releases
Connect an EL-9S to BROWN & RED leads, which
corresponds to Door station 1. And, for door station 2, connect
the other EL-9S to ORANGE & YELLOW wires.
• For JA-2HCD, only the functions No.1 & 2 are available.
• Cut off unused wires to prevent shorting.
