I have a Wharfedale "engage" cordless answering machine and there are no messages on and message says its on but won't let people leave a message. Red light is also flashing as if there is a message??

0 I have no idea how to fix this, but mine is doing exactly the same thing. No matter how many times I go through the settings, it still says you can't leave a message.
