Question About VTech Cordless Telephone CS5111-2
phone not charging...

my phones are not charging-on either main base or plug base--it say power failure or out of range- i know it is not the house plug in cause i bought a regular phone to use and it works fine--can you please help me --i like the phones that are cordless--i have even tried other plug in areas in the house--they are not charging on either phone base--i have lost the manual to the phne sets for help

5 'Power Failure' displayed doesn't mean no power to the handset, means no power at the base. If your handsets are not charging you'll see the low battery icon on the handset display. This is a connection problem between the handset and the base (can't connect to base so it's telling you that either you are out of range or the base isn't getting power). Try turning off anything in your house that could be interfering with the signal (wireless internet, etc...etc...), and if the problem persists bring it back for a refund - it's defective.

0 Try Taking a Q-tip With A little alchohol and clean the contact points where the phone touch on the bottom and inside the base let air dry.
