Question About VTech Cordless Telephone 2432
Handheld Show B541...

This is an old phone I haven't used in a few years. The phone worked perfectly but the batteries died. I replaced the batteries a couple of days ago. The base works perfectly, the batteries show charged BUT the on/off button doesn't work so therefore I can't ascertain a dial tone from the handheld. I have to do everything from the base.
