Noticed that the adapter cord was out on the corded base. Plugged it back in but the Caller ID, answering machine & cordless phones don't work. I am able to get a dialtone on the corded base and dial out. But the transition is slow, and I have to linger on the 1 for the phone to register it along with entire telephone number for out side area code calling
