I have a Uniden Sect 6.0 and it just started sayin...

I have a Uniden Sect 6.0 and it just started saying searching and then it says out of range. I disconnected unit and phone line nothing. The phone is only 2 years old and cable came and it isn't my line into house. What can I do?
