5 Phone company must provide the service and you have to subscribe to it. 1. Pick up the handset, or press headset or speaker. 2. Press VOICE MAIL 1 or VOICE MAIL 2 3. The unit autodials the the pre-programmed voice mail access number/code so you can access the voice mail stored. STORING A NAME OR NUMBER IN MEMORY. 1. Press the STORE button. Enter digits-shows in display. 2. Use touch tone to store up to 25 digits. 3. Press Sel/Save or STORE button. 4. Use the touch tone pad to enter a name - upto 16 characters Press the 1 key to enter a space. 5. Press the Sel/Save or STORE button 6. Press a MEMORY button to save the record in DMA.

5 "Press the 1 key to enter a space." does not work. It just adds the "1". Is there a "shift" action or something to make this work?
