Question About Southwestern Bell Cordless Telephone Southwestern Bell FF2115M
No dial tone...

Can not find the actual Manual, but picked up this old phone that looks new. Replaced battery that was dead, handset reacts to buttons but says "Dial?" I put in number and pushed talk button, it says connecting and then says try again after 20 seconds. Never a Dial Tone.

0 i assume you have base unit to charge battery. i charged battery then disconnected and connected battery. i think i disconnected power supply and then connected again with phone in place. pushed the on-off botton on base unit and the phone started to audio prompt me to set-up unit and greeting message. i got the phone to work but not all the features.
