I have had the seco-larm E-920A voice dialer installed for over 10 years. Recently my phone line has shorted. Service tech diagnosed dialer has the problem. When i unplug dialer phone line is fine. All other functions of alarm system work. Are these dialers prone to fail over time? Could a surge in the phone line burned the unit up? Is this unit repairable ? GRH
