Corrupted Photo?...

My son took a picture with his phone, and tried to save it as the wallpaper. The phone shut off, and when he turned it back on, the photo looked pixeled, and now the phone will only flash a red screen when you turn it on - no menu, data, anything. How can I reset this phone?
