Phone lines...

We installed 8 handsets and 1 base station. If a person is on line 1 and someone else picks line 1 or all of them pick line 1 they can all hear each other. Is there a way to isolate individual phones.

0 I have one base and 1 handset. It seems as if the mute us stuck on the handset. Help!
