Question About Radio Shack Telephone 43-283 Presidian Handset
Just got Presidian handset 43-283. Can't register....

Just got Presidian handset 43-283. Can't register. My old base is 43-259. One handset works fine. New one is the one that won't register without a matching base. Manual describes how to do it. I couldn't. Went to Radio Shack. They couldn't. Said product must be defective, as it won't comply with first instruction in manual
