acess the answering machine...

I have a 900 mhz digital spread spectrum, I would like to know how to acess the answering machine from outside the house. if there is a code number or something .. I have a cat # 43-767. I bought the phone a long time ago and it still is working. great phone. bought it at raido shack. Thank you,
