I have successfully recorded and played back my announcement message. On incoming calls, the caller gets four rings but then my instrument will not accept, or store, or playback any part of the callers message. My display icon indicates answering machine is "ON" but my message counter remains at '00' and does not flash. My "Play/Stop" button tells me 'You have no messages".
