unregistered handset msg. The phone has been fine since purchasing several months ago until the unregistered handset msg. apppeared. thanks

5 Phone handset needs to be registered as either "1" or "2" . Go through menu to find registration.

5 Turn off base station. Turn back on,hold the button (in the cradle) for 5 sec until you hear a beep, now go to the registration menu on phone and type in the master pin(0000 by default) then push ok. NOTE: pin has to be entered within 10 sec of pushing the button on the base station.

1 My phone tells me I have a new message. Yet when I attempt to do this it tells me I have no messages.
