Question About Philips Cordless Telephone CD 245 codless phone
problem solving...

My newly purchased CD254 philips codeless phone now has a hissing sound and one cannot communicate. any suggestions

4 I have not been able to register my handset nor can I get a dialing tone.

3 These phones won't communicate until they have been taught to recognise the base station. Handbook here: http://www.p4c.philips.com/files/c/cd2454b_05/cd2454b_05_dfu_eng.pdf if you don't have one. Jim

3 have a so called cd245trio programming is away ! and ANI or CLI does not work properly if not all 3 are to the basestation than system functions improper - phonename & timedate switch on LCD sucks

3 for no apparent reason handset displays "searching" and will not process calls incoming or outgoing

3 I have purchased Philips CD245 duo set. It says "searching" on the display.I can't reset it, can't set the date/time. I have tried with different sets of fully charged batteries but to no effect. Can any one help?
