I can't get the friggin' battery cover open. (I'm not normally like this) :-) Is there a gentle trick without resorting to tools. I've tried sliding, prising (also with rubber gloves) The thing does not budge.

0 The manual doesn't cover anything so basic. It just shows an arrow where it's meant to move, but it doesn't.
