Question About Philips Answering Machine SE155
Number of rings...

I have programmed the answer phone to come on after 7 rings but it only rings about 3-4 times. Depending on where we are there is just not enought time to get to the phone.

1 as you no doubt know, the standard uk "phone ring" has always been two quick rings together. The Philips phone machine counts each of those double bursts as two rings, so it reaches the 7 you've set it for after just 3-4 uk-style rings.
