5 Areas to check: Place the handset and the base unit away from other electrical appliances. Move closer to the base unit. If your unit is connected to a telephone line with ADSL service, it is recommended to connect a filter (contact your ADSL service provider) to the telephone line between the base unit and the telephone line socket. You may be using the handset or base unit in an area with high electrical interference. Place the handset and base unit away from interference sources, such as antennas and mobile phones Make sure the battery on the cordless piece is fully charged If none of these areas seems to be the issue, try contacting Panasonic tech support for additional assistance: (800)211-PANA or (800)211-7262 Hours Mon-Fri 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM EST Sat-Sun 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM EST Here is your manual: http://bit.ly/1yuCL1r
