On the base, when i press the button for [Greeting Rec] twice - nothing happens. I do not get a beep to proceed, if I speak it does not record. When I press any of the buttons Greeting [ Rec] [Check] or [Erase] there is no playback of the message and Erase does not erase the existing message. I can erase and playback messages with the handset as per manual instructions.
