I am trying to check and/or find out my remote access code for model KXTG1062M. I follow the manual which isn't too clear. It shows the handset but I'm not sure why. then it tells me to hit Menu-3-0-6 and enter the 3-digit code, save it and go to Off. I get as far as enering the code but after entering 2 digits, the display cuts me off. What am I doing wrong?
