We have a Uniden 900 MHZ Voice Dial sensory voice ...

We have a Uniden 900 MHZ Voice Dial sensory voice activation Extend A Phone, model # exv98. Purchased it many years ago. We are able to receive calls; however, no dial tone and therefore we are unable to make outside calls. We've replaced the battery. Still no dial tone. Any ideas ?? Before we have to call the phone company.
