Question About Nortel Networks Telephone None
Changing Name on Display...

When I call my supervisor - on his display the name of the prior employee comes up. He would like my name to come up. How do I do this

4 We use 2 lines on this phone !!! Is there a way to program a different ring for each line ???

3 This is handled in the Business Communications Manager. 1.) You need to access the BCM. 2.) Services 3.) Telephony Services 4.) Active Set DNs 5.) Click on line/extension you want to change (turning the little dial downward) 6.) There are 2 parts to this a.) General - click once to see what is already displayed. Change name here will change display. b.) Click a second time will allow you to change the first and last name (note the name can only be 16 characters long. 7.) Once done with this click all the sections closed to log off. 8.) Access the BCM again, this time go to the Call Pilot. 9.) (Here you change the name on the voicemail)Click on Change/Delete Mailbox 10.)Go the the extension you want to change. 11.) Edit - then enter name Hope this helped.
