Question About M&S Systems Intercom System ?
1989 install...

WE purchased our home - built in 1989 in Texas. We have a M & S Intercom System with no manual or no model numbers.We want to update face & repair door bell. We are looking for a manual. Size is: 16" w x 8" high black plastic face with brass frame. Any help will be appericated.

0 We are in the same situation -- 1989 home we just purchased. The M&S intercom system sounds identical except our doorbell works (took me awhile to figure out that turning down the speakers meant we couldn't hear the doorbell!). We haven't figured out how to use the intercom part of the system -- we can run the radio & have other input running through the system, but can't communicate with each other or the door via the intercom. Seeking instructions from anyone who knows more about use of this system. Thanks!

0 We just bought a house yesterday. It has a M&S intercom/Radio/Doorchime and we cannot figure out how to get the door chime to work. The radio works fine and we have almost figured out the intercom. I would really like an owner's manual too.

0 How did you get the intercom to work? As to the doorbell, did you check the speaker volume controls? If they are turned down, you won't hear the doorbell.

0 I have a similar issue. When power was recently restored now the doorbell chimes thru the intercom continuously - even though I have gone out to the doorbell and literally CUT all the electrical lines. Help!
