I have a LG-Ericsson phone that has a button flash...

I have a LG-Ericsson phone that has a button flashing that is my phone line and has a strange dial tone and I cannot answer the phone without hitting the button on the line that is ringing. Can you tell me how to fix this? Thanks, Lynette
