Question About GE Telephone 29586FE1-A
Won't stop repeating about the menu key...

My phone keeps saying "Press the menu key to set up the unit". But after i go through the menu setup, the still says "Press the menu key to set up the unit". Also I can't put an announcement for the answering machine.

0 I had the same problem, this was my solution: I unplugged the whole answering machine for 30 seconds. When I plugged it back in, it behaved properly: I was able to press the menu button once, following the voice directions I made all my menu choices one by one, and that was it. No more endless repetition.
