I purchased a corded emerson phone but I am unable...

I purchased a corded emerson phone but I am unable to program the caller ID. I returned 2 previous phones thinking the new phone was damaged. Now I think different, is there something I am missing.

0 I read the manual. This is the second phone I purchased this week. I used the menu but I don't see anywhere where it gives the option to program the caller ID
