I purchased an emerson digital cordless phone dect...

I purchased an emerson digital cordless phone dect 6.0 about a month ago and I do not like the fact that the hand sets do not light up so you can see who is calling. I have to use a flash light to see who is calling me not impressed . I have tried to reset the contrast but it does not lighten up
