Question About BT Telephone Big Button 100
no communication either way...

Help please. My 91 yr old mother has this phone....I live an hour away. She has just tried to phone multiple times but cannot hear me after one or two words...when I phone her I cannot hear her after one or two words. Is this likely to be a battery problem? If so, must I put in rechargeable batteries? Thank you!

4 I have had the same problem. It's due to the handset rest switch. I dismantled and cleaned the switch but probably easier to buy another phone on eBay.

0 Really appreciate the suggestion of cleaning the handset rest switch..will try this and report back...
