When I plug in the machine and connect it to the p...

When I plug in the machine and connect it to the phone, it continues to beep every 5 seconds. There are no messages on the machine. How do I stop the beeping as it is annoying to say the least! I'm not sure of the model as it only says BTResponse on the machine
