I have a binatone 100 walkie talkie, however , one of which I cant get to receive unless I do a scan for week signal, I have tried all channels with high frequency out put on. Once I scan for a weak signal, I can receive communication from the other handset, I am also able to communicate back, but on release of the talk button, communication is lost again, until I press the button to scan for a week signal again.
