Question About Binatone Telephone 410
After only a year of using my binatone 410 spiral ...

After only a year of using my binatone 410 spiral phone the display has become very dim. My bigger problem is that when I answer a call the caller cannot hear me until I wiggle the wire attached to the handset a little, then it's ok. Will changing the batteries rectify both problems?
