5 Press and hold the Handset Locator button on the base until you hear short beeps.You now have 3 minutes to register the handset. Press MENU button. Press the UP ARROW until the display shows "Register". Press the OK button. The display shows "PIN". Enter the PIN code (0000 Default). Press the OK button. The display shows "SEARCH" for a few moments then registration completed

1 This works for the Activity 2000, as well as adding extra handsets.
